Moose Tracks.

There isn't much to me, really. I live just like you, that annoying fly buzzing in your ear, and the tree outside your window. The pet you love so much and the withering flowers you can't bring yourself to throw away. I live. Simple as that.

Successful Day.

Thursdays are historically good days. I had a birthday on a Thursday once. It was a good day. Today was a good day, too. I went to school. Got a mocha. Took my last dose of antibiotics in applesauce. Went to graduation. Saw a whole heap of people. Successfully had three people avoid us! YEAH. Accidentally casually ran a red light. Had some soup. And didn’t fall down the stairs today. Good. Good. I”m real tired now, though. IT’S THE WEEKEND WOO YAY WOO HOORAH AND STUFF. There are only three more weeks of school. yaaaaaaaaaaay.

JUNE 6, 2012. JAZZ ON JEFFERSON. DOWNTOWN SAGINAW. COME. PRETTY PLEASE.

I mean, I’d go for it. He seems suave.

Music can lift us out of depression or move us to tears - it is a remedy, a tonic, orange juice for the ear. But for many of my neurological patients, music is even more - it can provide access, even when no medication can, to movement, to speech, to life. For them, music is not a luxury, but a necessity.

I spent two hours at Nouvel this afternoon just playing some steel drum. It was nice. I forgot how much time flies by when you’re in the zone practicing. I got a lot of stuff done, too. Came home to find out I have been accepted into the Eddy Band for all of the performances. All of them. Every single one. Yeah, that’s right. I’m not a substitute this year. I get my very own Saginaw Eddy Concert Band polo and get to be in the group photo and get to record with the band. I’m a real member. REAL.

Do you have any plans for June 6, 2012? Do you think you’ll be bored? I know just the solution. Swing on down to Jefferson Avenue between 5pm and 8pm next Wednesday, the sixth, for Jazz on Jefferson! There will be tons of live performances up and down the avenue including yours truly playing with the Pancats Steel Drum Band! We’ll be playing between 5pm and 6pm in the parking lot of St. Mary’s Church in downtown Saginaw. We’ve got some nice tunes lined up, so don’t miss it! Even if you don’t want to come see us, there will be many other performers in attendance, so come on down for a fun night! Hey, hey!

It’s note card making time. Maybe.

Heh

“Somehow a green bead got stuck in my ear, so I’ve been recovering from that, ha.”
“A GREEN BEAD? IN YOUR EAR? WHAT?! Well, if you’re looking for a summer job you might want to consider opening a bead shop since your body produces them! You should harness this power and make some money bro!”

It’s good to have supportive friends, hahaha

Feelin’ Fresh.

Tuesdays are always so Tuesdayish. Hmmm. I don’t think I will ever get used to crushed up antibiotics. Nope. Never. Bippityboppityboo. A mocha sounds really good right now. Or just coffee in general, you know? You know. I know. They know. We all know. It’s a known fact. These new slurpee flavors are really good. Rambling. It’s one of those days. Graduation is this week. Oh, my. I can’t believe the little babies are graduating tomorrow. They’re all grown up now, awe. I can’t wait to go back to school. It’s so boring here, heh.

I got a haircut today. It’s pretty fresh. I hope you like it.

To eat some ice cream or to not eat some ice cream. It’s a mystery, you see.

Well, bye.

Words.

Teach your kids to swallow pills young, because if they don’t learn to swallow pills then they’ll have to crush them up and put them in some kind of food and, I can promise you, that is so much worse than trying to learn how to swallow pills.

A boy I’ve never seen in my life recognized me from Heritage at Kroger today. How about that. Tommorrow is back to the school thing. For now, it is ice cream time. See you soon then.
